Founded by Limpho Thoahlane in 2021, Pheha Plastic was born from a viral Twitter thread about recycling. Hirundo Energy responded not with applause but with action partnering to provide essential recycling machinery. From tweets to transformation, the journey is still unfolding.

Launch of Pheha Plastic in Morija led by founder Limpho Thoahlane, transforming a viral tweet into a real-world recycling initiative, with early approvals from local institutions.

Featured in The Reporter as “the new recycling buzz,” showcasing early experimentation with shredders and recycling machines, producing items like rulers and tiles.

Hosted students from Ha Matela, offering hands-on plastic recycling demonstrations and environmental education covering the 'Five Rs'—Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle.
